The Community Development Department partners with the Kenton County Fiscal Court and all 19 cities across Kenton County to serve as the first point of contact for economic and community development needs. Guided by Kentucky Revised Statutes Chapters 100 and 147 and the 2024 Kenton County Comprehensive Plan , we provide technical expertise and research to coordinate site readiness, revitalization, commercial growth, and community education across every jurisdiction we serve. Guided by service, leadership, integrity, and collaboration, we partner with businesses, developers, and residents to make Kenton County an exceptional place to live, work, and do business.
