Lienholder Notifications

Changes to Kentucky’s code enforcement statutes enacted by the 2016 Kentucky General Assembly (HB422) take effect January 2, 2017.  KRS 65.8836 now requires a “system for notification of lienholder” that provides lienholders and others that elect to do so with electronic notifications of all final orders entered pursuant to KRS 65.8801 to 65.8839.

PDS is responsible to administer this notification system on behalf of the following Kenton County Joint Code Enforcement Board jurisdictions: Bromley, Crescent Springs, Crestview Hills, Edgewood, Elsmere, Fort Wright, Independence, Kenton Vale, Lakeside Park, Ludlow, Park Hills, Ryland Heights, Taylor Mill, Villa Hills, and Unincorporated Kenton County.

To receive notifications of code enforcement citations and final orders pursuant to this statute:

• Sign up to receive email notifications; or
• Call 859-331-8980 and ask for Rob Himes; or
• meet with Rob Himes at the PDS office, 1840 Simon Kenton Way, Suite 3400, 4th Floor, Covington, Kentucky  41011-2999 .

In accordance with KRS § 65.8836, PDSKC is providing the information below to lienholders who may have an interest in these properties. If you are a lienholder and you would like to take action with regard to a final order associated with a property, please contact the Code Enforcement Department at 859-331-8980.
